Questions you may have!

Q. Full Head or Half Head?

A. A half head of extensions is for those wishing to create volume rather than length. 3/4 of a head can be used for those who already have relatively long hair and are only looking to increase the length of their hair by a couple of inches or so. A full head is advisable for those wishing to increase the length of their hair considerably and achieve a full and natural look.

Q. How long will it take to apply my extensions?

A. micro fusion bonding Micro Rings and Nano rings take 3 1/2 - 4 1/2 hours to apply

Q. Will extensions damage my natural hair?

A. This is a very common question. There is no reason for extensions to damage your hair if applied properly. Thousands of women have used extensions to grow their own hair to a desired length with no adverse effects whatsoever. However, this is not to say that everyone's hair is suitable for hair extensions. This is why I have a free consultation to check the condition of your hair before extension application.

Q. How long will my extensions last?

A. This really depends on the amount of care you put into your extensions, regular maintenance is needed every 6 - 8 weeks, this is necessary to keep your extensions in good condition. A full aftercare sheet is provided after fitting to ensure you give them the best care possible. On average your extensions will last 3 months, but with strict aftercare they can last 3 - 4 months. You will notice that your extensions will start to thin after a while, this occurs with every type of extensions, many clients opt for a top up rather that a full removal.

Q. How long does my hair have to be for extensions?

A. Your hair has to be at least 3 inches long at its shortest point.

Q. Will my extensions be uncomfortable?

A. You may notice for the first few days and possibly up to a week that you might feel slight discomfort when sleeping. This is because you have to get used to the weight of the extra hair, and they might feel slightly tight. This happens with all extensions and is not something of concern.

Q. Can my hair be coloured with extensions in?

A. Yes your hair can still be coloured while your wearing extensions, however it is recommended you have this done professionally as only the top section of your hair can be coloured, or areas where there are no extensions, putting a colour on to the bonds will weaken them and you may loose several extensions.

Q. Can I use a hair dryer, hot rollers and other styling equipment?

A. Yes, you can use all of the above with Remy Human hair.
